چکیده
Background Anastomotic leakage is a major complication in colorectal surgery, resulting significant morbidity and mortality rates. Despite substantial progress surgical technique, anastomotic rates remain stable. An early diagnosis of leaks was proven to reduce adverse outcomes improve survival. Objective This study aims find novel scoring system for detecting using inflammatory nutritional indicators after surgery. Our purpose analyze the diagnostic accuracy leak scores ((CRPPOD3)POD1)∗preoperativealbuminlevel) predicting postoperative complications. Design The included cancer patients who underwent curative surgery at Koc University Hospital between 2014 2018. Patients were categorized into two groups depending on presence compared terms preoperative albumin levels, CRP levels days 1 3, rates, length hospital stay, quotient, which calculated by dividing POD 3 level level. bedside score quotient predictive value score, estimating analyzed, cutoff calculated. Results A total 183 study. 3–1 ratio, found successfully detect leakage. area under curve as 0.78. optimal be 50.3 shows 90.9% sensitivity 59.3% specificity. Conclusion may represent valuable tool risk planning better strategy associated costs. However, further multicenter studies with large cohorts are necessary confirm these results.
